Getting Ready for the Race.  Boy it's cold! 40 degrees, muddy and damp.

	Brian Lee.  11th in the region.  16:40 Brian tied his own course record!  He's  the fastest Lion ever on this course.
Andrew Lapham turns the corner and  qualifies for states in 15th position.  Andrew ran 16:46, the third best Lion performance ever on this course.  In  1999, Jason Pridmore ran 16:55, the  fourth best time.  In 1998, Ryan Roma  ran 17:00 and Pridmore ran 17:04.
	Nick Pearce finished third for the Lions with an excellent 17:31, finishing 31st.
Comrade Steve Penkevish also broke  into the 17's with a respectable 17:57, finishing 40th.
	Miles Tharp finished at 18:04, tieing his own course best.
Jeff Tschirhart also finished at 18:04, coming in one place behind Miles.
	Pat Meagher ran 18:26 to finish 57th  against the best runners in the best region  in the state!

	"If I was in 16th place, I was going to  sprint up to the Milford guy and ask him  if I could beat him since he was going to  go to states anyways."
