Pumpkinfest Run Come Lead the Parade!
|

Lead the Parade!
The boys and girls track team at South Lyon High School proudly invites you to join the
Pumpkinfest excitement by leading the parade down Pontiac Trail from Millennium Middle
School near 9 Mile Road right into the heart of town. The course will then use a paved bike
path and side roads to return to Millennium for refreshments & awards. The parade route
along Pontiac Trail promises to be lined with hundreds of spectators cheering you on!
Be a Part of the Show!
Michigan Runner Magazine will be in town to do a video story of the Pumpkinfest Festival in
general and the Pumpkinfest Run in particular. This is your chance to be a star!
Enjoy the Fun Afterwards!
There will be awards & refreshments after the run at Millennium Middle School. After that,
please enjoy the festivities of the Pumpkinfest Festival in Downtown South Lyon and at the
Craft Show at Millennium Middle School.
Celebrate our Fifties Theme!
The 2011 Pumpkinfest Festival is celebrating a 1950's theme. Runners are invited to join in
the fun by wearing 50's attire. There will be an award for the best male and female 50's
constume. This is purely optional, but could be a lot of fun.
Thank you to all of our runners who braved the wind and the cold and the rain to run the 2011 Pumpkinfest Run. Your participation benefits the boys and girls track teams at South Lyon High School.
